Last day in California

We have had such a terrific trip, and on our last day we had the pleasure of visiting Aunt Amy's parents, Geoff and Lynette Collins in their beautiful Belvedere home. It had been two years since we had been to their home (Addison and Amy's wedding), and it was so nice to see them again. Amy's brothers Tim and Adam were also there, along with some of their children (Ethan, Drew and Cameron). Miles and Emery enjoyed going to the neighborhood park with everyone.

Thank you - Lynette and Geoff - for having us in your home and for the beautiful lunch. And the children send their thanks for the books!

Quick story: When we left this morning for the Collins' home, Addison invited Miles to ride with him and Amy in his car. Miles was very excited about this because it was his first opportunity to ride in Addison's car, and he had looked forward to this for days.

During the drive Miles asked from the back seat (see picture below), "Uncle Addison, do you know how to drive Aunt Amy's car?"

Addison responded by saying, "Yes I do Miles. Remember, I drove it yesterday on the way home from Tahoe."

Amy then said, "You know what's interesting Miles is that I can't drive Uncle Addison's car." (She said this because Addison's car is a stick-shift.)

Miles replied, "Aunt Amy, when you're as old as Uncle Addison, you'll be able to drive his car too!"
