Emery and I had a "Father-Daughter" day today. We left this morning at 9 AM for Chicago, where we met my college fraternity brother and once-upon-a-time roommate, Bill Seliger. We drove with Bill to Evanston for Northwestern's home-opener (which, by the way, they lost). Of course the best part of the day was just having some good one-on-one time with Emery.
As I write this post, Miles and Kristen are in Chicago at a White Sox game. While Miles has been to see the Sox several times, this is Kristen's first trek to the "south side" to see the Sox. A friend called her this afternoon with an offer of free tickets, and a ride to the game. Turns out the seats were in a luxury box. Not bad for her first time there!
