This year's "Heritage Festival" in Downers Grove is the 175th Birthday Party for the Village.
We always enjoy the fest, and the kids love the opportunity to explore the carnival rides. Miles was tall enough this year to move out of the kiddie-zone ... and into a couple of the mid-sized attractions. He loved this free-fall ride. And Emery (who initially teared up because she wasn't tall enough) got the giggles watching him. Miles is seated on the far right. You can hear him say hi to mom.
