Happy July 4th! We've had a nice day in St. Louis with the Kinman family. The day started a little rough for Emery, who was sick at her stomach this morning and had to miss the St. Louis July 4th "VP Fair Parade." That meant that I missed it too, as the Kinmans, Miles and Kristen headed into the city for the parade. All reports was that it was HOT ... but enjoyable.
Emery and I hung out at the house and rested for a while. By lunch time she was asking to go out, and so we went to the Galleria mall, had lunch, and walked around.
To my surprise there was an Apple Store at the Galleria, so Emery and I played a bit with the new iPhone. Way ... way ... WAY cool!
We also deci
ded to see the new Pixar film, Ratatouille. Loved it!Came home to find Miles (I mean Darth Vader) dueling it out with Schroedter. What a surprise.
Tonight we all had dinner together (great burgers on the grill, compliments of Robin) and then we had a very small (and yes Dad, safe) fireworks show in the back-yard.
Tomorrow we're off to Columbia!
