... Underdog is here!
Today was pretty much my "last day" of summer vacation, as band camp activities kick into gear early this week. So - in an effort to milk every last second of family fun out of the vacation - our family of four went to see the new
Underdog movie. Miles and Emery have been seeing ads on TV for several weeks now, and have actually been asking to see it. So we went this afternoon. Here's what the kids had to say about the movie:
Miles:
I remember the part where he destroys the house, and when dad comes home he has to straighten up the house.
Underdog tried to make all the dogs be good dogs, but they were not all good, so Underdog had to get them.
He can fly, and walk at the same time. Sometimes when he runs too fast he starts to fly.
My favorite part was when Molly and Polly got stuck, and Polly said, “Oh where, oh where could my Underdog be?” And Underdog saved them.
My other favorite part was when Underdog got burned and fire on his tail. He was okay, but he made a funny sound.
Emery:
Molly and Polly got stuck. Then Underdog saved them.
At the very, very end Underdog got hurt.
The kid’s dad got tangled up with the rope.
Underdog got a cape and a sweater.
