Daddy Days

To wrap up Spring Break with a change in routine, I set aside Thursday and Friday for 'Daddy Days' activities with Miles and Emery. I let them each pick an activity and allowed them to invite a friend to join us.

On Thursday, Miles invited Cory to go bowling at the Tivoli Bowling Lanes. The boys and I had a great time. Our outing included a video game and lunch together at our house.

On Friday, Emery invited Emma to go to lunch and shopping at the Yorktown mall. We ate cheese pizza together, and I let them each pick out one item at Claire's boutique. The skipped around the mall and generally had great fun. The biggest smiles came on the ride home when I plugged in the iPod and played a "Hannah Montana" song. The two broke into a very loud and spirited duet.
