Back to the Future

Today was busy, including a two hour marching band practice this morning (as the band prepares for the Indy 500 Parade next weekend), digging a four foot deep hole in the yard for a new basketball goal, and walking to town tonight to see a movie at the Tivoli with the kids and the Williams family.

The eight bags of concrete that I bought early this afternoon turned out to be two bags short of what was needed to fill the hole for the post, so while Glenn and Josiah helped stir the concrete, I headed to Home Depot for the other two bags. While I was gone, a former band student (Joe Rush), and his father (Joe Rush) came by the house in their Model-T Ford. They took Emery, Josiah and Glenn for a ride through the woods.
