Miles and I took Schroedter and Hayden to their first Cubs game today. We were appreciative that - despite their St. Louis upbringing - they cheered for the men in blue today.
It was a very exciting game. Cubs were up 7-0 on the Giants in the 7th inning. Then, the Cubs tried to give the game away, allowing the Giants to tie it up in the top of the 9th. Cubs took it to the bottom of the 11th to settle it. We watched the final play (see 2nd picture) on the ramp headed slowly down to the exits, and then enjoyed singing the "Go Cubs Go!" song at the top of our lungs with 41,555 others.
