I'm not positive, but I think this year marks the 20th consecutive year I have attended, and worked on the staff, of the Midwest Clinic in Chicago.
This year, the 62nd annual convention, marks the last that will take place in the Chicago Hilton and Towers Hotel. Next year the convention will move a couple of miles to the south, to the McCormick West convention center. While it will be fun to see the new space next year, I'm finding myself a little sad to be saying 'good bye' to the Hilton.
When we began (the staff) to set up for the conference yesterday morning, I took a couple of pictures on my phone. One of the crew beginning to assemble the concert stage in the Grand Ballroom, and one of the beautiful Christmas tree that annually adorns the main lobby.
