Miles and Emery both had their first soccer games of the fall season today. This is Emery's first year to play organized team soccer, and her team are off to a great start with a 3-2 win. Emery had an "assist."
Miles' team (which I am "assistant coaching" this year) also had an exciting start. They lost the game (2-1), but Miles had the first goal of the game and season. It was the best shot I've ever seen him hit.
