Sports Fest

Yesterday I took Miles to the Sports Fest in Chicago, sponsored by the Mayor's Office. It's a free event held at McCormick Place with lots of opportunities for children to try various sports. Miles tried
football, baseball, golf, and tennis.

The first major highlight for him included meeting former Cub's Second Baseman and Hall of Fame inductee Ryne Sandberg. Miles was so polite, introducing himself when he approached him. Miles extended his hand and said, "Hi Mr. Sandberg. My name is Miles Teague. Would you sign
my baseball please?"

The second highlight was that he got to see the Harlem Globetrotters do a little "preview show." We are heading to the All-State Arena tonight to see the Globetrotters take on their rivals, the Washington
Generals, and seeing them in Chicago yesterday really got him excited about seeing the game this evening.
