This was the conversation in the back seat of my car this morning ...
Miles: Wow. It's really hot today. There is definitely Global Warming going on today.
Emery: Global warning? What's a Global warning?
Miles: Warming.
Emery: Warning?
Miles: WARMING. Global WARMING?
Emery: What's a Global WARMING?
Miles: You'll learn all about it in 3rd grade. When it's a sunny day out, and there are no trees around, there is air pollution. And when the sun hits the ground, and the heat tries to bounce back up ... the thick air pollution, which is made of carbon dioxide, pushes the heat back down and makes the ground really hot. It causes lots of heat to go through the town ... or wherever it is. So, because it's so warm today, there is definitely global warming happening.
