Buying cars is one of those things I tend to remember. Maybe it's because it's a large purchase, and dealing/negotiating with car sales folks ... even the nicest of the bunch ... is at best awkward. I am confident Kristen will always remember the night we picked up the KIA mini-van. It was a cold February night in 2004. And how do we remember? Kristen went into labor ... and Emery was born the next day! For this reason it has always been easy to remember how old the van is ... and Emery has always considered the van to have the same "birthday" as her.
This morning I caught Emery saying 'good bye' before we piled in - one more time - and drove to pick up the all-new "Kristen-mobile."
