While Miles claims the Cubs as his favorite team, he told me that Wrigley was at the very bottom of his personal stadium rankings. He ranked this summer's venues in this way: 1) Cards, 2) Twins, 3) Royals, 4) Dodgers, 5) White Sox, 6) Cubs.
Miles and I are considering hiring ourselves out next summer as "bad luck charms" for the home team. In 5 of our 6 stadium visits this summer, the visiting team won the game. In fact, our presence today brought the Cubs longest winning streak of the 2011 season (7 games) to a screeching halt. Just think what could happen if the Cubs took us on the road with them next summer. They might actually be competitive!
