This afternoon we took our annual family trip to the Jonamac Orchard for the Corn Maze, the Apple Launcher, pumpkin picking, and 3-dozen of their famous apple/sugar donuts. Yummmmm.
It was fun to have Gran with us this year. We divided into two teams for the corn maze (Brayer/Emery/Gran vs. Kristen/Miles) ... with an agreement that the team who could find all the markers first would win an extra donut. It was a very close finish. After 45 minutes of winding through the corn, Brayer, Gran & Emery emerged from the maze just seconds before Kristen and Miles.
We are thinking about creating a corn trophy of some kind.
