Last Friday I had the opportunity to be the 'guest reader' in Emery's 2nd grade classroom. Her teacher, Mrs. Amidon, encouraged me to pick a book with a musical theme and to bring in some instruments. So I picked the "The Jazz Fly" and read (scat sang) the book as Emery turned the pages. We had lots of fun!
