Ten years ago, a nurse in the Downers Grove Pediatrics office introduced Kristen and me to four other families that all had first-child newborns. It's amazing that such wonderful friendships formed out of something akin to an 'arranged marriage.' For many years we met as a group every Friday afternoon. Our kids have grown up with one another, and even though we no longer all live in Downers Grove, we remain very close. Kristen, Miles, Emery and I feel very blessed to call this group our friends. Here's to another 10 years!
