100 Day Challenge / 1,800 Nights In The Loft

It was five years ago that Emery asked me if I would put a loft bed up in her room.  I told her if she could keep her room completely clean and picked up for 100 consecutive days, I'd do it.  I didn't think she had a chance; I thought I was safe.

Ya … she got the bed 100 days later.

We had fun assembling it.  We had fun painting it when she asked if it could be white.  We had fun chopping off the legs about two years ago when she kept hitting her head on the ceiling.

And now, this phase comes to an end.  Kind of "full circle," because we just put back up the bed that she had five years ago.  Dad saved it, waiting for this moment.

Now … do we save the lumber because when she gets to college, she'll want a loft bed again?
