Field Day 2010

The kids had "Field Day" at school today.  I took a 1/2 day off of work to volunteer at Hillcrest.  My job was to organize and run the sack races.

Beautiful day ... great young people ... what a terrific way to start the weekend.

I will say I'm exhausted ...

1st Day of 1st Grade

Miles had a great "first day" of 1st Grade. Loves school. Loves his teacher ("She's really nice and pretty! We read a book today called Please Don't Eat The Teacher.")

Miles shows off his new backpack ("Dad, I'm too old for 'Cars'...).

And a picture at the bus stop this morning right before he boarded the bus for Hillcrest.
