Today's big outing was to the beach. We joined a group of Tim and Karey's friends from work. One of their colleagues was celebrating his birthday with a gathering that included a cook-out and bon-fire after the sun went down. Both Miles and Emery enjoyed playing in the surf. One of the guests at the party brought a djembe (African hand drum); Emery and Tori enjoyed playing duets. When the sun went down Emery led us all in a stirring rendition of "Old McDonald." Needless to say everyone was tired and went to bed without any fuss at all tonight. Tomorrow ... Disney!
