We had a GREAT day in the Tahoe area today. After a very lazy morning, and devouring a terrific crumb-cake that Amy made for breakfast, we set off for some sight-seeing and swimming.
We ate lunch at the Sunnyside Lodge right on the water’s edge of Lake Tahoe. It was an absolutely beautiful view of the lake and the surrounding mountains. Addison snapped a shot of Kristen and me that we all like, so I’ll include it here in the post. We all enjoyed skipping rocks into the late after we ate, and here is a picture of Emery working on finding her next rock to launch.
Following lunch we went to a small beach on Donner Lake. Cold water didn’t deter Miles or Emery from swimming, and I thank Uncle Addison for being willing to venture in with them!
We are so appreciative of the Collins’ generosity in allowing us all to stay in their beautiful home. The views from the deck are breath-taking; I plan to greet the sunrise tomorrow!
