Elmo Tragedy Under Investigation

Breaking News

Columbia, Missouri: Elmo took a fall today at the home of Ronald and Mary Ebert, tumbling down their flight of stairs. Matt Ebert responded by saying that it looked like Elmo may have been trying to take his own life, and that the Elmo word(s)-of-the-day was "compound-fracture."

Authorities, including Columbia Police and Forensics Crime Scene Investigation Unit, were on the scene within minutes (well, within at least a few hours) and the situation is now under intense investigation. Brayer Teague, son-in-law of Ronald and Mary Ebert was taken into custody for questioning.

Two-year old Emery Teague, who moved Elmo back upstairs to join her on the couch as she watched television, returned Elmo to the "chalk drawing" area on her way to bed tonight. Apparently, she believes Elmo is most comfortable in this position.
