This past weekend was the Hickman/Rock Bridge 20 year class reunion for the Class of '86, and Kristen and I attended the various events (bar night/picnic/formal dinner). It was really nice to see some old friends and catch up.The pick-up "rock band" that I had been asked to play with at the picnic fell through, which was just as well because it allowed me more time to visit with friends. A couple of the pictures here are from the picnic. Family members will probably recognize Howard Helvey, who was in from Cincinnati. I also ran into Mrs. Iannotti (see picture), my Junior High Science teacher. That was a great deal of fun because I was able to tell her how her help, faith and persistence was not only helpful to me in 7th grade, but still serves as a reminder to me each year that it's important to never give up on a student.
All in all it was an enjoyable weekend, and I'm glad Kristen encouraged me to attend. Being there with her, of course, was very special.
