We enjoyed visitng with Warren, Libby, Bailey and Bennett Lawson this weekend. They arrived just after lunch on Friday. Our trip into Chicago on Saturday included rides on the train and in taxi cabs (highlights for Miles!), a trip to the American Girl store where Emery was happy to browse and never once asked for anything (I know this will change some day), and a great lunch at a TGIFridays just off Michigan Ave. The weather was beautiful.
Emery adored Bailey, and Bailey was so sweet to spend time with her and make her feel special.
I love this picture of Warren, taken right as we got off the train in Downers Grove. "Warren Avenue" was obviously the inspiration for the picture ... but click on the picture and look at the other sign ... and the arrow! Accident?!?!
We feel blessed to have such good friends in Columbia who are willing to travel this far and spend time with our family.
