Tonight was the semi-annual soccer game between our musical colleagues from Bietigheim-Bissingen, Germany, and our District 99 (Downers Grove North and South High Schools) music students. For the FIRST TIME IN THE 20 YEAR HISTORY OF THE EXCHANGE ... the Americans won! (Notice who is smiling in the picture.)
We presented Reimund, and the other music teachers from Germany, with an official "Chicago Fire" soccer jersey. He is pictured here wearing it. I'm in my Germany World Cup jersey. Fun times!
