Our good friend from Germany, Reimund Schiffer, is staying with us this weekend. He is in town with 60 students from the Bietigheim-Bissingen Music School's Recorder, Guitar and String Orchestras. Miles joined Reimund and me on a trip into Chicago today. We took the train in late-morning, and returned late afternoon.
Stops in Chicago included Millennium Park and Grant Park, where the annual Chicago Jazz Festival is taking place this weekend. Miles loves interacting with Reimund, and I think it's so wonderful that he has the chance to get to know someone from the other side of the planet.
