Miles was identified for an enrichment program at school several months ago. Since that time he has been pulled out of the regular classroom once or twice a week for the program. His favorite part of it - so far - is that he has been exposed to some computer software called "Type To Learn 3." He really loves it, and has quickly worked up to Level 10. He's proud of the fact that he's at the 'top of his class' with this program.
This morning, after breakfast, he asked me if he could type an email to G-Bird and another one to Gran. It was the first time I had observed him typing. When I tried to help him get started I quickly learned that I was not needed. "Dad ... Dad ... Dad ... I don't need your help. I just need to place my fingers on the home keys ..." Fun to watch.
