Yesterday, while we were waiting for our dinner at Pizano's Pizza, the kids were very hungry and beginning to show signs of impatience. Kristen, who was also hungry, used the phrase, "I'm so hungry I could eat a horse!"
Toward the end of the meal, while waiting for the check to arrive, Emery began to get sleepy. First a yawn ... and then she offered - fully expecting to be taken seriously, "I'm so tired I could sleep on a horse!"
At least she didn't say "with a horse."
