10 Year Blog Anniversary: 1,464 Posts, 64,330 Page Views, 11 Countries, and a lot of Dad-Grief

July 7, 2006 was the day we started a digital journal (blog) of our family's antics.

It's been a collaborative venture over the years; I've posted 1,463 times and Kristen has posted once.

The Blog has logged 64,330 Page Views from 11 different countries.

I, as the primary perpetuator of all-things-Blog have endured countless complaints and eye-rolls from the subjects of said Blog.  (They really love it; they just can't admit it to me ... yet.)

On the 10th Anniversary of TeagueFamily.org, here's a "10-for10" that highlights some of my favorite posts over the past 10 years.

Vacation begins.  Launch of the Teague Family Blog!

Speech by Barack Obama
February 11, 2007
Kristen has only posted on the Blog once.  This was it.  I think for this reason alone it's worthy of inclusion in our "10 for 10." Or maybe because she publicly pledged support to a Democrat?!

Miles' 6th Birthday Party
January 20, 2008
Star Wars themed birthday party with - may I brag? - some of the coolest kid-friendly light sabers ever.  And a wonderful friend dressed appearing as Darth Vader.

When it comes to time management, and Miles, the acorn doesn't fall far from the tree.

Addison's Academy Award Nomination
February 27, 2011

When Kristen was teaching Group 2 at ACS she was in charge of "Maple Tree Tapping" ... a very long standing tradition at the school.

Final Crow Tribe Meeting
June 2, 2014
The Indian Guide & Princess programs were very important to our family. There are probably at least a hundred blog posts from various events we attended; this was the very last meeting and was hosted at our house.

Carnegie Hall
March 8, 2015
This post was a photo-summary of the DGN Band's New York Tour in February/March of 2015. Conducting and performing at Carnegie Hall was a "career highlight" indeed.
